NETGEAR Align Controller - Controller, Black

The NETGEAR Align Controller is a dedicated hardware appliance for configuring and managing AV-over-IP networks. It provides the central management layer needed to deploy professional media networks. Acting as a controller rather than a switch, it coordinates timing across connected equipment without handling data routing. The internal architecture is fully plug-and-play, so no initial configuration is required. Administrators use a standard browser-based interface for day-to-day monitoring, and integrators can manage the installation remotely through the NETGEAR Insight platform.

The unit is housed in a black chassis designed for mounting in standard professional equipment racks. Consolidating key network services in this format keeps the equipment tidy alongside existing broadcast or live event hardware. It is intended for installations that need stable, predictable operation without manual network management. Power is supplied by an external source; the unit does not support Power over Ethernet. A dedicated physical console port on the device provides direct terminal access.

• Complies with ST 2110, PTPv2, and AVB networking standards to establish predictable timing across connected media hardware.
• Has no switching RJ45 ports, functioning exclusively as an administrative node rather than a network distribution switch.
• Ships with an external 54 V/1.66 A power adapter and local AC power cords for immediate use out of the box.
• Includes a USB Type-C to USB-A 2.0 console cable for direct terminal access during localised troubleshooting.
• Rack-mounting compatibility allows the controller to be secured in standard AV enclosures for tidy cabling.
