The TP-Link Deco PX10 AX1500 + AV1000 Whole Home Powerline Mesh Wi-Fi 6 system is a three-unit setup that provides network coverage across larger homes. It combines dual-band Wi-Fi 6 with HomePlug AV2 powerline technology to link the access points. This hybrid backhaul approach routes data through existing electrical wiring, helping the signal circumvent physical obstructions, such as solid walls, that often degrade wireless connections. The system supports a maximum data transfer rate of 1501 Mbit/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Each unit connects directly to a wall socket to draw power while simultaneously establishing the powerline link. The three modules create a single, unified network throughout the property.

Each unit measures 169 mm by 105 mm by 105 mm. The access points include three Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports for wired connections to computers or switches. Network security includes a built-in firewall and HomeShield features, with wireless traffic protected by WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 encryption to prevent unauthorised access. Administrators can configure the units via a local web interface or through cloud-based management tools. The system supports standard routing functions, including DHCP, port forwarding, DMZ, and VLAN configuration.
