The Aruba CX 8360-32Y4C v2 switch is a managed Layer 3 device for aggregation and core network deployment. This non-PoE model features 32 SFP ports supporting data rates from 1 Gbps to 100 Gbps. It offers a switching capacity of 2400 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 2678 Mpps, capable of routing high-volume traffic between segments. Integrated IP routing and a 212,992-entry MAC address table accommodate large-scale network environments.
The 1U chassis mounts in standard racks and includes two AC power supplies for redundancy, drawing a maximum of 425 W. Thermal management is handled by three internal fans. Administrators can manage the device via secure SSH/SSL or locally using the RJ-45 and USB-C console ports. Traffic segmentation is supported through 4094 active VLANs, access control lists (ACL), and quality of service (QoS) frameworks. The switch also includes a built-in DHCP server and supports RIP-2 routing.
Key Features:- 16 GB of internal memory and 32 GB of flash memory for firmware and configuration storage.
- Multicast handling including IGMP snooping and broadcast storm control.
- Layer 2 traffic resilience featuring link aggregation, port mirroring, and spanning tree protocol.
- RADIUS and TACACS+ authentication for secure access.
- SNMPv2 and SNMPv3 support for encrypted network monitoring.
